Carrying out welfare visits to service users who are socially isolated. This can include delivering food packages and getting them involved in activities at NWCC.
Help registering a housing application and acting as an advocate on behalf of the service user in securing suitable housing; we can also make referrals to emergency housing providers. Once rehoused we can usually help secure furniture from various charitable sources.
The team also offers employment support to residents of New Wortley and Armley. We can help you with CV writing, job searching, job applications and attending an interview. The support we offer is tailored to you and our team is always happy to help.
